This post is regarding what is user and computer name and both are associated to each other.
User and Computer Accounts
A user account is a name that is created for a person in a computer. its also known as user name and being used to login to any system.
User accounts can also be created for system, such as service accounts for running programs,
system accounts for storing system files and processes, and root and administrator accounts for system administration.
A computer account is a built-in, highly privileged account with access to all resources on the local computer. The account is not associated with any signed-on user account. if it is AD account then It can be authenticated from AD and granted permissions to access resources.
