  • Without knowing anything about the infrastructure, this is a very wide issue, but performing an AD Security Assessment from Microsoft, which can help identify risks and enhance AD Security, might be a good place to start. Here are a few places where an AD Security Assessment may be useful.
  • Examining the operational procedures.
  • Review of the membership of privileged accounts and groups as well as routine account maintenance
  • Examining the domain and forest trusts
  • Examine the operating system’s patch, update, and configuration settings.
  • Review of domain configuration and domain controller setup in comparison to Microsoft’s recommendations
  • Examine the delegation of critical Active Directory object permissions.
  • Whether the Review Tier Model is in use.
  • Suggestions for using PAW, etc.

So, that’s all in this blog. I will meet you soon with next stuff .Have a nice day !!!
