IPConfig

ipconfig is a command-line utility in Microsoft Windows that displays the current configuration of the network interfaces on a computer. When you run the ipconfig command, it will display information such as the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway of each network adapter on the computer.

What is ipconfig used for?

The ipconfig command is used to display information about your network configuration and refresh DHCP and DNS Settings. By default, the ipconfig command displays your IP Address, Subnet Mask, and default gateway.

How can I run ipconfig?

Click on your Start Menu and type cmd in the search box and press enter. A black and white window will open where you will type ipconfig /all and press enter.

How to see my IP address?

Here’s how to find the IP address on the Android phone:
Go to your phone’s settings.
Select “About device.”
Tap on “Status.”
Here you can find information about your device, including the IP address.

IPv6 is the newest version of internet protocol formulated by the IETF, which helps identify and local endpoint systems on a computer network and route online traffic while addressing the problem of IPv4 address depletion due to prolonged internet use worldwide.
