This post is regarding replication change notification. This term is comes under replication process.
Change Notification in Replication Process
This change notification is sent to all domain controllers so they know there has been a change in the active Directory database and that change is about to be replicated.
Enabling Change Notifications tells Active Directory that all attributes are to be considered urgent replication. Normal replication process will be ignored like domain controller queuing up all the changes it receives and then replicating them at its defined replication interval, it replicates all changes immediately as they happens.
How to prevent lingering objects replication in active directory
Once the change notification has been sent, the process continues with an “update request.”
