Disable Windows Active Directory Security Groups
Hello All,
Hope this post finds you in good health and spirit.
This post is regarding how we can disable or convert the active directory group. As we know, we cannot disable a Security Group in the same way a user account is disabled.
Disable Windows Active Directory Security Groups
However, you can change a Security Group to a Distribution Group, which disables all access provided by the group, but does not modify the group’s SID. and also keep in mind once you covert the groups types, all the permissions will be removed or changes. so please do the proper assessment before concerting the group.
This allows you to test the results of disabling the permissions provided by a Security Group prior to deleting the group.
So, that’s all in this blog. I will meet you soon with next stuff .Have a nice day !!!
