objectGUID
Hello All,
Hope this post finds you in good health and spirit.
This post is regarding objectGUID .
objectGUID
The objectGUID attribute serves as a user’s distinctive identification. The attribute is an ADS OCTET STRING structure that stores a single-valued, 128-bit Globally Unique Identifier (GUID). When a user object is created, the Active Directory server generates the GUID.
The differentiated name of an item is not a trustworthy way to identify it since it can change if it is renamed or relocated. Even if an object is relocated or given a new name in Active Directory Domain Services, its objectGUID attribute will always remain the same. Using the GUID property method in IAD’s Property Methods, you may get the objectGUID’s string form.
So, that’s all in this blog. I will meet you soon with next stuff .Have a nice day !!!
